Future MCU characters - Marvel Mondays

So I thought I would do a quick little post this week and list a few of the characters I want to see them bring to the big screen. My number one is Ms Marvel, not only is she a relatable character (I too fangirl over every Marvel character) but how cool would it be to get more diversity in the MCU, she's female, she's Muslim, she's badass. I also really want to see the Young Avengers, this was the team that really got me into comics and I think it would be a strong parallel to the current Avengers team. I wouldn't care too much about the line up although I think I would prefer to start with the original team give America Chavez her own movie and then introduce her to the team in a later movie. Obviously now that it looks set for Marvel to get all their properties back I want to see a good Fantastic Four film (there will be another post later on how I hope they do this). The Nova Corps was also hinted towards in the first Guardians of the Galaxy and I would love to

Mary Poppins Returns Review

I'll be blunt this movie kind of disappointed me. As a fan of the original Mary Poppins I felt this movie lost the joy and magic of Mary Poppins. The original Mary Poppins had such a positive message that this movie contradicted hugely.  Whilst the songs were catchy, and the acting was good the story didn't have a strong plot and lacked any message or lesson that was key in the first movie, I spent the whole movie trying to figure out why Mary Poppins had returned. The original Mary Poppins had a good message behind it about how there are more important things than money, while this Mary Poppins contradicts the original and tells you that money is important.  I originally thought Mary Poppins had returned to show the Banks kids that they could and should be kids while they still could and the first song even lead me to believe that this was the reason she had returned however it didn’t seem it was as the story then veered away from that idea. I thought maybe she's goin

Spider-Man Far From Home - Marvel Monday

Image
Welcome to a new series called Marvel Mondays were we discuss theories, news and things we hope happen in the MCU (disclaimer: I am in no way a marvel expert but I do love the movies and the comics even if I haven't read them all so I may sometime write things that are incorrect and I apologize now for that). So since the Spider-Man trailer dropped last week I thought 'hey let's start with that'. I will start by saying that I am excited for this, for me personally I think Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker so I can't wait to see where his Spider-Man is going to go especially now that he is, as Happy said, "on his own". I also love that the trailer hasn't given anything away timeline wise for EndGame or any other movies, it's not clear exactly when this is taking place (this was obviously shown via the passport not having dates and the fact no one seemed to mention 50% of the population just poofed into dust). However, the trailer
